Description of the Actual Services Provided by the Firm Literatures reviews related with indicators of flood vulnerability in relation with WASH domain. Development of consultation checklist at district and community level to verify the flood vulnerability indicators. Conduction of PVA to assess vulnerability condition of community and find general and key activities of integration of flood disaster risk reduction in WASH facilities to formulate a pilot project. Development of methodologies to implement the pilot project including monitoring and evaluation programme; carried out field based verification of developed criteria and indicators of flood-prone vulnerable zones. Selection of project sites for intervention of flood disaster risk reduction to resilient WASH facilities with respect to flood risk. Identification of community perception/practices to deal with flood risk and risk reduction through flood forecasting and warnings. Discussion on how to protect development facilities such as WASH services from flood risk and development of a mainstreaming framework by incorporating community and stakeholders needs. |
