Description of the Actual Services Provided by the Firm

Adopted planting protocol; Prepared insect, pest and disease monitoring template; Experimental trial from showing/planting to harvesting on the major crops Maize, Potato, Wheat and Mango); in Siraha and Udauapur; Stock take the historical incidence of pest and disease for national level; Developed a Smartphone-based app to send climate daily data from the current climate in formation monitoring station to central server; Formed Farmer’s Field School (FFS)/farmer’s group to monitor pest and diseases and explored the link between pest and diseases occurrence and climatic conditions; Communicated currently produced weekly agromet-advisory bulletin to the farmers and collected the feedbacks and brought back to weekly working groups; Conducted capacity development training on pest and disease modeling and agromet tools; Shared the experience and results of pilot for pilots for pest and disease monitoring and early warning alerts in the national workshop to promote monitoring of pest and disease; Improved transmission of climate daily data from the current climate information monitoring station to central server.
