Description of the Actual Services Provided by the Firm The study developed indicators for flood prone and flood vulnerability to identify flood risk region. Identification of gaps in WASH facilities and environmental conditions of a river and mapped out of actors involved in disaster related issues were carried out in the study. Likewise, field verification of the indicators for flood prone and stakeholder's consultation at district and community levels were done in the study. The study also recommended possible interventions for flood disaster preparedness and mitigation through early warning system and river/low lying region management to save life and protect WASH interventions. The study formulated flood disaster risk reduction framework/guideline for flood resilient WASH facilities. |
